As the world continues its bumpy and fast trajectory. As time marches on - we do always get to choose how we perceive, react, and behave. Kindness is still my hope.
This month I had the privilege of speaking with ASHLEY//NICHOLE the creator of Beauty by Day, Booty at Night fitness and lifestyle brand. A woman whose why is so strong that it makes her do the seemingly impossible - a mom and wife, a fitness instructor, a fitness model, a fitness buff herself, an entrepreneur, an aerial sports competitor, a friend, and an all-around remarkable human. She is on a mission to help women become their best selves in all areas of their lives. To help them understand how to work out and more than that how to set-up their lives so they have the time to pursue the things that make them feel beautiful, strong, and fulfilled.
I aspire to be a published author. So much so that I keep a list of different book ideas. One book that I will definitely write is going to be a cookbook called - The Mom’s Guide To Crushing It In The Kitchen. That title has a catchy ring to it - definitely going to be a NY Times bestseller or at least an Amazon trending cookbook…

From spirited, determined baby to competitive, funny girl to the wild, brave, imperfect woman you will be, I love you forever and always.
Sometimes I think about all the contradictory advice that is given to women about how to be successful in the workplace…

Loneliness and being alone are two totally different things!
A year ago today, I had to be brave.
I wish I could say I was fiercely, unwaveringly brave. But, I wasn’t.
…the older I get the more I know if you are able to really take experiences in, even the crappy ones, especially the crappy ones, you will grow and come out the other side with more humanity and humility.
I had an epiphany a few months ago. It involved an open sleigh ride in the mountains and big horses and champagne.
Written in 2012: Five years ago last night, I stood on the Labor and Delivery floor of Exempla Lutheran Hospital in Wheatridge, Colorado, hugely pregnant, bloated, contracting, bleeding, terrified, excited, sick of being pregnant, overjoyed to meet the little creature inside of me, and mostly just unsure about how this was all going to work.
Written in 2013: "To me, fair friend, you never can be old for as you were when first your eyes I eyed, such seems your beauty still." — William Shakespeare
Written in 2014: Economic and political pundits like to talk about generational cycles of wealth and poverty. But, I'd like to add a more important generational cycle to that list (and it doesn't cost a thing)—generational love.
